Saved my back AND my flower beds
I'm 64 and my knees just can't do the kneeling-and-digging anymore. Chucked this into my old Ryobi and planted 80 daffodils in an afternoon without getting down on the ground once. Cut right through our Tennessee clay like it wasn't even there. Wish I'd bought one ten years ago.

Bought it for tulips, use it for everything
Thought I'd just use this for fall bulbs but I've used it for tomato transplants, setting a new mailbox post, and even mixing up a bag of potting soil. My husband's tried to claim it twice. Get your own, honey.

Great tool, mind your battery
Does exactly what it says. Drilled probably 60 holes for my vegetable garden before the battery on my DeWalt tapped out — that's on me, not the auger. Just have a second battery charged if you've got a big job. Steel is heavy duty, no flex at all. Knocked off one star only because I wish it came with a longer extension option.

Finally something built solid
I'd bought a cheap one off Amazon last year and the coating peeled off after one use and it bent. This one is a different animal — solid steel, feels like it'll outlast me. You get what you pay for. Made in the USA too, which matters to me.
